This book, "Beyond News" is an eye-opening and thought-provoking inside and outside story of a newsroom. Multiple events played by vivid characters, this book presents not only a 360 degree view of a news-making but also looks into the life of those who are the real faces behind every information we get so easily sitting in our comfort zone.

The book has brought into fold some unknown aspects about journalism which have always been overlooked and put under the veil of ignorance. There are several significant issues raised in this book. The most important is being a journalist today and surviving in the environment where news is being made and sensationalism is being endorsed in the name of TRP.

The book presents a saga which has several exhilarating characters like Sanjay, Sajal, Anjan and so on and various layers in the story. The story begins with the life of a newcomer journalist, Sanjay who covers a long and tiring journey of a journalist. The experiences he gets throughout this journey are indispensable for the rest of his life. How to deal with his seniors, police officials, and common people are only a few of the major problems which a journalist faces in dispensing his daily duties.

This book undoubtedly and rightfully pays tribute to the fourth pillar of our democracy and the people who uphold it at every cost. And there are several events in this story which conspicuously proves the arguments which are mentioned above. Whether it's about brutal atrocities on the media persons by the Police officials or exploitations at the hands of business tycoons who rule and dictate the working behaviour of a journalist. This book is a big blow to all these mishaps which is prevalent in Media today.

The story also consists of three personal life stories of three people who cover was-never-easy-journey from destitution and uncertainty to prosperity and happiness. The beauty of this book lies in the diversity of topics which it talks about.

"Beyond news" is a book in which story mainly revolves around three characters , who are friends in the personal and professional life. It mainly talks about what jounalists undergo in any organisation and how the one time noble job of jounalism has now been converted into meagre.

I love the way author has described the trails, tribulations , and struggles faced by buddies. We always looked upon journalism has a very glamourous profession . But the reality is far away from this glamour.

You will cry and laugh at the same time . While reading this book. Author has presented a very true image of large media houses. How journalists flatter politicians and their seniors just to get promotion.

Narration is crispy and fast-paced . I havent read any book related to journalism . So , this book is a perfect book for me . Which has given me a brief description about journalism . Overall i really enjoyed reading this book.

At last i must recommend this book to all the lovely readers to give it a try for once . I am sure you all are going to love this book .

Must read❤❤
