I wanted to like this book, full of famous quotes and short poems from as early as the 1800's, but I was rather disappointed. The title of the book doesn't match the content. Only a few were understood. The illustrations were the best part, but they were small compared to the page. Oh well, I tried.

This is a beautiful collection of thoughtful quotations. The illustrations are charming. Quit a lovely book.
