In the finale of the coming of age story, “If We Ruled the An Atlanta Love Affair,” Mayor Antwon Maurice Young begins his journey to the White House– finally a lifelong dream is no longer a thought. As Antwon chases down his aspirations, he considers himself blessed to have his beautiful and headstrong fiancé Ella Sullivan holding his hand with pride.
The two young ambitious moguls in the making grow and pray together as they mold each other into becoming a power couple.
Trials and tribulations arise but because their union is solid, nothing can come against them. Antwon’s presidential campaign is ran with an iron fist.
Readers are invited on the wild yet motivating ride to The White House, it was John F. Kennedy that said, “Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country.”
It wouldn’t be too many years later before generations would be quoting the great Antwon Young as well.

Nako did her thing with this one. It focused more on reality and the everyday life of ordinary people doing ordinary things. In stead of being drug dealers, thots, and king pins, we have Antwon the mayor, who is running for president. Of course he has his first lady Ella by his side. Just like with anything that you try to accomplish, there is trials and tribulations along the way. Will they beat the odds against them? Will he make it to the White House? You have to read to find out. I would recommend that you start with part one. You will not be disappointed. What's next Nako?
Part two starts with the young couple in the race for the White House as the 2nd but much younger African-American president. What you see is the behind the scenes story. Antwon and Ella's relationship is unconventional in every way and together they face the obstacles that come along with their relationship and Antwon's political aspirations. As with any couple, Ella and Antwon have their share of problems. I found myself immersed in Ella's emotions. When she was angry with Antwon, so was I and when she was head over heels in love, so was I. This book is not a sappy love story, but is full of action, romance, heartbreak and betrayal. It is a roller-coaster ride of emotion but also touches on some very sensitive but very real topics such as racism, mental illness, stereotypes, etc. As with all of her novels, it's a page turner that is hard to put down and keeps you wanting more.
Expect some drama with the haters against Mayor Antwon Maurice Young & his fiancee Ella Janae Sullivan. It's expected from the media, but from your sibling? That was not expected. Family throwing shade love...umm. I would have liked to see more of the secondary characters, Rhema, Kim or even Jeff incorporated into the story. Perhaps, an expanded backdrop to explore their personalities in relation to just worker bees running Twonny's campaign for President of the United States.
This read was interesting in theory but did not keep me captivated. It was a bit tedious. I gave the novel 2**.
Just reading this book had me in tears and laughter all riled up in one. I didn't want Ella and Antwon to end but it did and it was a beautiful ending. Nako is an amazing and gifted writer that takes you into the story the words are alive and vibrant you are truly engaged in the plot and storyline. This book was so good that you have to hurry and one click it. This story was a truly amazing thank you for giving us this awesome read.
This book was absolutely awesome! Nako really expressed what's happening in the world today, from black presidents of the USA to women always holding it down and not complaing to black live matters and so much more. That's what's up! I love the fact Ella learn to put her trust in God and she got to experience real love.
This book was all that !!! I've never read a book by this author before . I had not read part one previously but part two was great. Ella and Antones love is amazing . I read this book straight through . I will definitely be checking out some more of this authors work . 5⭐️
I loved the way this book was written. It had suspense and mystery, which made it very interesting. Great job Nako, keep up the great work. I read this book in a few hours. More than 5-stars...
Not really sure how I feel about this one. It seemed as if I was waiting around for something interesting to happen and it never really did. This book was filled with drawn out sex scenes and weak drama. Just totally different from what I was expecting from Nako.
This read was something special. I kno it told a lot out of their comfort zone but real issues. Antwon n Ella are the relatable. Legendary! I always enjoy ur work but this one put us in the White House
I recommended it to all of my friends that are readers. I deliberately waited a couple of days before reading the last 3 chapters of this book because I did not want it to end. I was sadden at Ella's past life being exposed but she came out on too.
I loved this series very different than the others nako keep doing your thing this story was meaningful and loving loved antoine and ella didn't want it to end.
