Another collection of poems, using the experiences in her life, though not in as much detail as her "Psalms of a Laywoman"... fell of human hunger, and joy of a relationship, with God. In here is the progress from having God around you (in devotions, prayers, what one senses), through the dryness periods, to realising that God can also be *in* you.
Of course, I couldn't relate completely to all poems here since I'm not in those states now (or ever, or just understand perhaps different what is going on), but I'm sure they would be helpful when one is. Good also was that many of the poems were short, like 1-2 pages.
This was a quick read, but easy to understand, and easy to like. So if you have liked here poems before, you would like these too (but I do think reading the "Psalms..." book first would be good).

All is complete.
All is here.
All is now.
We are.

A beautiful collection of poems by one of my most beloved authors.
Gately, talks about the seasons of God in her life; sometimes near, sometimes far, but always present. She writes deeply of family and parenting in relation to God.
A great book for parents to use as a time for short (or long) reflection--whatever time they have.

Poems that are relatable
l love this small book of poems. The narratives are mostly short but they go through the heart of the matter - voices of human feelings and experiences. Thus the poems are relatable.

This is a beautiful book of prayer-poems that walks us through the authors seasons of life and gives us glimpses of the divine in every page. This book helped awaken me to the ever present God of our every day lived experience. It felt cozy, warm, yet not overly fluffy. Extremely relatable.
