Celebrating the Eucharist

This Anglican Eucharistic manual, sponsored by the Alcuin Club, is suited to the needs of different parishes. It provides those clergy who neither have the time nor the opportunity for extended study with some advice on which they can rely. Celebrating the Eucharist helps users to combine what is practical with faithfulness to the Catholic tradition as it has been received by the Church of England. Relevant to Common Worship, this book is of value beyond a particular rite and will provide useful to those of differing theological backgrounds.

As an introduction to the practice and theology of liturgy this book is thorough, thought provoking and short (which is in this case a good thing). Well laid out I expect to return to various chapters in the future for practical reminders. The detail, descriptions and vocabulary can at times be overwhelming for the uninitiated.
