The story of Ada Byron Lovelace, probably the world's first computer programmer. Her first algorithm was unknown for nearly a century before scientists began programming with it.

What I didn't know: Her father was Lord Byron the poet, and he and his wife had divorced in the days when women did not divorce their husbands.
