The essays about the Buddhist art were very informative - about the meanings of the paintings and sculpture as well as the locations and conservation of the artwork. I went to a talk by one of the curators of the exhibit, which gave me a deeper perspective on some of the paintings. I have a special interest in Bhutan because some of my relatives have traveled there. I bought a copy of this book for my mother.
