At last, her father agreed to let debutante Blair MacGreagor sail to London to be presented to the King. She took a copy of a lost MacGreagor story with her, but finding time to read was not easy. Not only did she have to avoid being swept off her feet by a man eager to relieve her of her inheritance, her mother’s scandalous reputation quickly spread among the first-class passengers.

Once again, two stories for the price of one. Blair sails to England with Abigail and Claymore for Blair’s introduction to London society and to be presented to the king. During the Atlantic crossing Blair reads the rest of the first book of the Lost MacGragor Books. She also makes several acquaintances; some she learns to love, some not so much. Watch scoundrels try to get to Blair’s money. Also, lots of intrigue and of course Abigail can’t keep her mouth shut. The ghost of “the duchess” even raises her pretty head - not in person, but the legacy of her scandals. On to Book 3.
This too was a good story. Not as great as the first one but good. I can’t wait to read the next book. I loved the characters and storyline. Seeing how family has died makes me sad but not like the original series. On to the next “Beloved Secrets”. 🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜
Great characters, intrigue, betrayal, love, death, hope, despair, longing... The saga of the McGreagor clan continues. Nicely done Marti Talbott. Here's hoping there are many more stories in that fertile imagination of yours.
