When his checkered past catches up to him, taking the life of his pregnant wife, Cuno Massey, armed with his .45, vows to make the men responsible pay with their lives. Original.

Gritty but routine western. Despicable bad guys one expects in pulp westerns. Revenge, treasure maps to gold, and ruthless Apaches. I must say that Cuno is made of tougher stuff than today's heroes, might be age, but still a durable gunslinger nonetheless.
Makes one ponder how cowboys/ gunslingers became so glamorized on the big screen. The old west was unforgiving with little expectations of success.
So, this story was ok, but definitely was a bit explicit for my enjoyment. By reading the back, I knew what was going to happen to the wife, but am not sure why western's have to have this concept. Oh well. We'll see where the series goes.
