Easy, insightful read. Pastor Keith Battle presents invaluable commentary on the many paths that can lead to sheer, spiritual brokenness. He touches on his own journey as a leader and the destructive journeys of so many others. This is an important lesson on failure and redemption. A reminder that "it is all working for our good." Geared to spiritual leaders, but a resource for us all. I found myself in many pages of Pastor Battle's book. I appreciate the humility, candor, vulnerability, and transparency of Pastor Battle...in his preaching and his book. A confirming message indeed.
Hope-filled message for all those who need and want A Second Chance. The Humpty Dumpty analogy of putting a life back together again after one's brokenness has been exposed is powerful. Takes one through what it means to live into grace: The Fall, the Anatomy of the Fall, The Gift of Exposure, Recovery Work and Rebuilding. Real-life stories show one that there is grace for all. I met Pastor Battle during his fall and am I'm pressed with his comeback and his transparency in this book to help others trying to recover from a fall of any kind.
