When Did Caesar Become a Salad and Jeremiah a Bullfrog?: 100 Clever, Funny, and Insightful Lessons for Life

Just a quick glance at the table of contents will tell you that this isn't your standard inspirational book.

Consider these chapter "It's a Dog-Eat-Dog World and Cats Are Waiting Tables,""I Need a Rocky Mountain High Because I've Reached a Barry Manilow,"and "If the Incredible Edible Roadkill Bill Passes, Will There Really Be a Fork in the Road?"

Martin Babb moves beyond such extraordinary titles to address the ordinary issues we all face on a daily basis -- surviving trials, loving others, parenting, developing a servant's heart, and a variety of other down-to-earth topics.

With each life-affirming lesson, he plants whimsical seeds intended to nurture serious reflection. When Did Caesar Become a Salad and Jeremiah a Bullfrog will give you a reason to smile and something to chew on with its unconventional collection of bite-sized essays.

I’d’ve rather seen most of these as stand-up comedy routines v. reading them.

I enjoyed this book and most of its humorous but thought provoking lessons that it contains.
It's a very light read, with simple morals and bottom-lines at the end of each short lesson.
A few of my favorites were "We Are the Salt of the Earth, but Some of us Need a Lid on Our Shaker.", "If We Live by Sweet'N'Law and Nutra-Saints, We Could Easily Become Numb and Number."
Some of the chapters felt a little dry and lacking, but most had me chuckling out loud with the relevance of each point made.
Overall, I would recommend it for those who are looking for a spiritually uplifting book with some humor and light reading.

Liked Martin Babb's insights but I personally think his jokes are lame.
