I found useful the chapters on Spark Mlib, and Databricks. However, including info about installing and configuring wasn't very smart. It might worth having it in Appendices. Overall, I found the book a bit inconsistent. Each chapter had its own flavour without connecting the previous topics.

Very strange structure of the book - the target auditorium isn't clear.
A lot of hardcoded machine names in the code, not idiomatic code, etc.
