I remember when these Manning's "in Action" books where thick, dense bricks that you had to dedicate a week to.
This is a very basic introduction to Cordova, but I wanted just that and found at least half of this book's content informative (the other half are deployment & debugging chapters that were just a drag...). You can read it in a day and gain a pretty good perspective on what the Cordova is all about. But not much more.
