Squadron/Signal Aircraft in Action #1183

F-15 Eagle in action - Aircraft No. 183

Rate this book
"F-15 Eagle In Action," Squadron/Signal Publications.

The North American Bald Eagle has long been the symbol of freedom and
power of the United States of America. It was only fitting that when the first
McDonnell Douglas F-15 air superiority fighter rolled off the assembly line
in 1972, it was also named Eagle.

Includes information on all aspects of the F-15 Eagle aircraft.
Filled with specifications, facts and photos, including a two-page
color center section showing different markings and configurations.
A very handy guide for modelers trying for true scale appearance!

This is a rather lacklustre collection of photos of the F-15 including the F-15A, F-15B, F-15C, F-15D and F-15E. A short text section accompanies each subtype as well as line drawing and specifications. Given that there are many books on the F-15 including pictorials, this is just one amongst the many and it is not a particularly good one with its selection of photos. One of the poorer Signal Squadron volumes. Not recommended.
