Insufferable commentary, quilts mid at best

I first heard of Kaffe Fassett from Jane Brocket in her wonderful book The Gentle Art of Domesticity. This is the book of Kaffe's that features Jane's quilt. That was a nice surprise. I've been interested in quilting off and on for years. Jane got me very interested, but Kaffe is well - he's amazing. How can anyone not want to quilt after looking through one of his books? Really? He's just amazing!

Kaffe Fassett has a remarkable eye for color, which is what turns this book into eye candy. The quilts are not my style - too many big lush florals - but the composition and color sparks imagination. Thanks, Broward County Libraries, for carrying this one!
