As an NBM junkie I had to get a book published by "Flying Buttress" which is the name they started with before current triacronym.

So I adapted to this adventure strip jazz and spent a whole day wading through the most words you'll find on a page outside of prose.

The women completely carried this section- I'm so very glad I got to peak in on the hens carrying the men.

His art is graceful and engorged with talent but it's annoyingly "modeled"- everybody looks posed and within their own setting. As if he had cut them out and pasted them all together. I do enjoy it's application with the totally ancillary background persons because it adds a goofiness- especially because they look as if cut from other newspaper art instead of drawn by him. You get a three tiered scene with main, supporting and background awkwardly lurching over each other.

Thrilling adventures, really, with Pat and Terry from 1939. Adventure strips do not get better than this.
