I'd love to read the unabridged version of this book. It is so good. The characters are just perfect for the time period and wonderful to get to know. The story is similar to other writers of that period, but certainly has a character of its own. The story is also a lesson in what is important in life and how easy it is to lose the important things. I'm so glad I was able to get this book and listen to it. If you like Jane Austin, this one will be a treat for you.
The narration was so good and brought the characters to life.
I requested this audio book from the narrator and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.
