Kindly received as an ARC for an honest reveiw...
I do love boxsets over individual books in a series sold separately not because of cost but purely laziness... a boxset means you can go straight through to the next book without trying to find it, especially if it has a cliffhanger!!!
Anywho.... back to the Passion Rouge books!!!

Cue seeing an angry, confident and quite scary Isla who Xander will rue the day they met!!!!

The thing to remember here is communication is needed at all levels of a relationship. Being open and honest is key at all times!!!
Isla took steps to protect herself from Xander but he eventually got through to her and explained the reasons of the secret however things never run smoothly and due to others jealousy things go wrong again... and because rather than confronting the situation and talking about it Isla ran but Xander ran after her to make things right and cue a happy ending!!!
These books nicely introduce characters from JD Chase's Passion Noire series which I've read previously.
I did cry and laugh at some points in these books and shouted and screamed in my head at these books but honestly isn't that what a great story does!!! if it has done that then it's a deserved 5 ☆☆☆☆☆'s

I honestly loved Xander and Isla, they are unlike any other characters I have read before and their story had me completely hooked until I had devoured the entire book! It ends on a HUGE cliffhanger so be ready to dive into The Redeemer!!
Xander is a real dirty talking alpha! Some people might find it offensive but it's who he is and I for one wouldn't change a single thing about him. Isla is a fierce leading lady, the only thing that rivals her fierceness is Xander's dominance and when they come crashing together it's one almighty explosion!

WOWZERS! OK so after that ending I was so damn nervous to pick The Redeemer up, I really wasn't sure where JD Chase was going to go with it but she blew me out of the water with all the twists and turns, it was just totally unexpected!
I couldn't help but be swept up by Xander and Isla once again, they are just so damn addictive they distracted me from my daily life! The Redeemer is full to the brim with all the secrets that weren't spilled in The Player, I can't say much without being a giant spoiler but there is so much left to come out and all of it is explosive!
This is a phenomenal conclusion to a really addictive series, thank you JD Chase for sharing these two with the world!

Can someone please point me to the nearest air conditioner vent!! Holy Guacamole...I need to cool off after reading this story. Xander is a calm, cool, collected smooth talker who knows what he wants. This was my first book of J.D. Chase to read and it wont be my last. I enjoyed this story enough to find out what the heck is going to happen, that I got book two. I was so excited to read this book that I sat down and devoured it in one sitting. A book has to be good for me to keep on reading with out getting distracted. This book did it!! Xander is uber HOT and I would love to have him come visit me...if only for a day <3 J.D. Chase did an awesome job wrapping up this story. Definitely hooked on this author and anxious to read what is coming up next!!!

Holy hotness!!!! Loved this box set. Isla and Xander together are explosive and his filthy mouth is oh do delicious.
The box set saved me the pain of the cliffy lol.. and I was able to start the redeemer, book 2, straight away!!!
Plenty of drama and a revenge plot..twists and turns aplenty which made me happy..
Still would love more Xander please

I have read JD Chase's other books. So when I was given the opportunity to read this series, I was all about it! Xander takes a filthy mouth to a whole new level. Some may take offense to it. If you are vanilla, this may not be for you. Actually if you don't understand what I mean as vanilla, you can't handle Xander.
Isla is a strong woman that knows what she wants. Great books have a resilient main character. No push overs for me. Then she meets her match. Alpha is a puny word to explain Xander. Although sometimes overbearing, he redeems himself many times. I wanted to push him off the cliff multiple times. What an awful position both Isla and Xander have been put in. You really feel the emotions the characters go through.
My review is becoming too long. All you need to know is click the BUY button. JD Chase stands out and all her books I remember. That is what matters from one book to another.

Oh my Xander
I didn't know what to expect after reading the blurb but I sure got more than I paid for. Dander took me to a place no other erotic romance book ever did. Islam is great. I love her strength but she thinks she is more righteous than anyone else. Hence, the four stars. Overall, I loved this book. I will be reading the rest of JD Chase books.
