I read this play to audition for the show and it was my first read from Foster. The play is about four women playing golf the day after burying their best friend. Three of the women have been doing this for years and the fourth is a friend of the deceased from a country lodge she used to visit. As they recount their memories, they learn a lot about their friend they didn't fully know.

Apparently there is a male version that precedes this but I think Foster did a great job writing it for women with appropriate characterization. Some characters I enjoyed more then others. I liked the charter of Tate the most, but I do feel like dialogue should be tweaked a bit more to make a "reveal of character" a little more believable. Overall it was enjoyable and though I didn't get cast, I would enjoy going to watch this production; 4 stars.
