Great to get the gist and get started memorizing

I have heard people actually remember more from a book when they read a summary of it than going through the entire book itself.

An interesting read on some history, theory, practices, and characters in the realm of memorization. A big chunk of the text is a personal view of the author's journey to the US memory championships and digresses along the way on some neuroscience, philosophy, and oddities of the place of memories in the brain and our lives. A good, quick read that doesn't dwell too long on any one portion of the story but continues to move to the end.

Memory

Memory enhancement though shot vignettes. I learned about this book during the Strum Master Class with Hubert's Smits. Good way to use all your memory.
