Wicked Hope : Book One

Rate this book
As scientists struggle to create a cure that has threatened mankind’s survival, compounds are built to house their experiments … their atrocities. Unfortunately, power and arrogance eventually taint good intentions, and humans find themselves facing a tragic reality: to the scientists, the ends justify the means; to the victimized cattle within, brutalities and starvation. In the end, the raw, basic needs of man must be sated.

Sally is uncertain whether or not she has the courage to survive, to live another day, or if she can find the unequivocal valor to embrace death itself. Sebastian, a young boy who is also held captive, endures the worst of all fathomable pedophilic perversions, which provides Sally with the means to find the voice once silenced by fear and suffering.

Sally realizes she will do almost anything to protect the child, even live to wake another day of hell.

Tilly Slaton was born and raised in Texas. She has two beautiful daughters and a divine cat named Pumpkin Face. As a divorced woman, Tilly had many years to fantasize about her unfilled desires. Thankfully, she has explored her writing talent and is now privileged with the chance to live her dreams as an author.

As a thirty-something-year-old woman, Tilly has recently returned to college to pursue her psychology degree. Many ask her what psychology has to do with writing, and the answer is simple: what better way to develop in-depth character progression?

Tilly’s reading goal for the year is 150 books; she consistently meets that goal every year. Her hobbies are reading, writing, reviewing and critiquing. She loves taking her five-year-old daughter to the park and teaching her how to read.

Tilly’s favorite genres are paranormal romance, erotica, erotic romance, and psychological thrillers. A few of her favorite authors that have inspired her over the years are Anne Rice, Stephen King, Christine Feehan and Laurell K. Hamilton.

More About Tilly

Q: What are your writing qualifications?

A: I was once a lonely housewife with entirely too much time to fantasize about all of the delicious and unfulfilled desires. Need I say more?

Q: What genre do you prefer to write?

A: I write mostly erotica that focuses on actual relationship progression with a decent dose of romance. My books range from paranormal romance to BDSM erotica to sappy poetry to zombie mutation!

Q: What do you do when you are not writing?

A: When I am not writing, I am either reading, spending time with my friends or my beautiful daughter. Ok, I occasionally relish the amazing midday nap. What can I say? Dreams inspire me.

Q: What do you want to be when you grow up?

A: I am not quite sure. I haven’t quite grasped the concept of growing up. I’ll let you know when I get there.

Q: How did you get to where you are?

A: It has taken me a lot of hard work, an abundance of heartache and a dab of patience.

Q: Are you a cat or dog person?

A: I have a gorgeous cat named Pumpkin Face Kitty Cat. She perches on the back of my chair when I write and cheers me on with purrs.

Q: What are your pet peeves?

A: Just a few pet peeves are: people who speed in school zones, people who invade my personal space, and inconsistent liars.

Q: What is your favorite television show?

A: My all-time favorite television show is Criminal Minds. I have recently become slightly enamored with Perception as well.

Q: How do you come up with your erotica scenes?

A: I think about my fantasies and what would turn me on and go from there. When you have to walk away fanning your face and take a break from writing an erotic scene, you know you’ve nailed it!

Q: Are you currently in an intimate relationship?

A: Yes, I am. The man makes my cheeks sore from smiling, my throat hurt from laughing, and I’ve never felt more beautiful or more loved than I do at this moment.
