Great travel series that gives out of the way places to visit. I enjoyed it
because being new to New Mexico I did not want to go to the typical tourist
sites -- although the balloon launch in ALburquerque is worth the experience.
Cowboy festival this weekend in Ruidoso Downs: stories, music, and chuck wagon cook offs
plus lots of vendors selling their stuff. If you like visiting Indian ruins, White Sands,
lava beds, cute little towns, Billy the Kid haunts, its all there and that's just my region
of New Mexico.

This book is a great supplement to a more general travel book. It told me things to see and do that I would not have found out about otherwise, even though I read a few other guidebooks and some travel websites.

Had some good ideas on places to visit, places we wouldn't have otherwise considered. Book like this really should have pictures though.

Full of great ideas and details. Makes me smile as I find NM already quite off the beaten path to begin with, but this gets you out even further.

An excellent guide to New Mexico

Place to see, stay and eat - what more could you ask for? Also has history and insight into the famous people who have lived in New Mexico.
