Published in 1975, 'Afrika Korps' is number 12 in the popular 1970s series of Airfix magazine guides. I read it more for nostalgia value than anything else, having owned a copy when it was released. Looking at it now, the historical details vary from contentious to totally inaccurate, whilst the primitive modelling projects do have the redeeming feature of teaching modellers essential skills.
