Angie Bray: Shhhh

Rate this book
"Angie Shhhh" is a substantial exhibition of the Los Angeles–based artist’s installations, photographs, drawings, sculpture and video presented at the Ben Maltz Gallery at Otis College of Art and Design, January 17 - March 22, 2015. The title “Shhhh” comes from an installation Bray created in 2000 and it aptly applies to the majority of her work since it is about quieting the eye and the mind to observe and discover the subtleties of ourselves. Bray creates aesthetic situations for the individual to discover how one sees, perceives and reacts to what is presented. "Shhhh" offers an illuminating overview of Angie Bray’s work with the presentation of four major installations and a series of autonomous works from the last 30 years.
