A really good source of information if you have the time and will to battle through it. It sounds like an undergraduate who has a certain number of pages to write and is going to be late for class wrote it, it is so dense. Still, I'm glad I had to read it for class.

This short collection of chapters is a great, quick over-view of modern archaeological approaches for many aspects of identity. The Joyce chapter is particularly compelling, as it shows how intertwined many identities can be. Important read for those interested in archaeology.
