Most people know me as half of the Piece O' Cake Designs team. With my partner, Linda Jenkins, we have written many quilt books. I am also a wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter. I love my family and friends!

Travel is part of my life - for both work and pleasure. I travel and teach quilting nationally and internationally. It's great fun to meet new people and see new places! My husband, Steve, and I enjoy traveling together - hiking when we can.

With every day, I am more aware of the fact that each day is a gift to be embraced. I do my best to do that with a smile and open heart.

While I don't strive for perfection when piecing, sometimes I just need to know how to make the pieces fit. This book can help with that.
I like their idea of leaving extra width of the quilt sandwich when you put on the binding, so the binding is "filled" to the edge. My solution is to just pull as much as I need to and not worry if the binding is wider on one side of the quilt. This idea will give me another option.
This would be a good book to have on hand when you are just designing on the fly and wonder if someone has already figured this out. These ladies have it figured out!
