Well here we are again reading Mr. Oneill's
crazy humour. Not only do young adults love these books BUT older ones too.
Duane Dexter our super hero of Big Beaver
well I don't know about a super hero but he is differently a WereBigfoot, you know half human, half Beast , in this case Bigfoot. Plus on top of watching the town and the Bigfoot Tribe, Duane has a big secret.
Someone's new in town Vampettes from Venus! An all girl rock band who have an agenda. But no worries Duane is watching them trying to figure what there up to. Duane needs help so he calls his friend MB.
Can Duane Dexter and MB save Big Beaver? What do the Vampettes want? I was gifted this ARC for an honest and truthful review.

Simon Oneill has delivered yet another spine tingling, fast paced rom through the woods with a story that is both intriguing and humorous.
On the surface, Duane Dexter appears to be an ordinary teen. He is handsome and adores beautiful women who flaunt over him in return. He has an off beat best friend, and is an accomplished musician. However, look a bit closer and you see Duane is a lot more than he appears. He lives alone in a run down cabin in woods though he has a large inheritance and lots of friends. He is most comfortable not in designer clothes, but in tattered and stinky attire. Look even further and you see that Duane is keeping a secret. Duane Dexter is a superhero. No, he's not Batman or SpiderMan, he's Phantom Bigfoot! Guardian of all creatures of the woods, including a two special tribes of Bigfoot: The WereBigfoot who are humans who can shape shift into the beast and the natural born Bigfoot. Duane takes pride in his duty and does everything he can to protect his furry friends from danger. Then a new danger arrives in the quaint town of Big Beaver stealing his supernatural abilities. Will Duane be able to beat this threat without them or will evil have its way?

Simon Oneill's Duane Dexter's Bigfoot Adventures Part 2 is a refreshing take on the paranormal genre. His protagonist is not muscle bound hottie in spandex that shoots lasers out of his eyes. He is a teenage prankster with a heart of gold whose superpowers are protecting nature and those creatures that live with in it. Phantom Bigfoot is funny, heart warming all wrapped up in a breath of fresh air.

Second book in the series continues the previous but adds in new characters and elements. It's still action packed laced with humor.

Duane not only has his responsibilities of protecting "Big Beaver" but now he has an added concern other than trying to outsmart Lou, the sherrif. Lou has other worries, Virgil, who she's in love with shows interest in his FBI partner.

If that's not enough to deal with, trying get Lou and Virgil together. The Vampettes from Venus, an all female punk rock band show up in town with a secret of their own. It's not long before Duane figures out what they're up to. He decides to call on an old friend MB. Together they team up to try to save Big Beaver.

This book is an awesome, hilarious story that's appropriate for adult and young adults a like. I found myself laughing out loud at the humor. It's definitely a unique story I'd highly recommend
