What a great book. Loved reading about the early days of the Arizona Territory, especially the Prescott area where I graduated from high school. Cattle rustlers abound in this story and it has many twists and turns to find out who dun it and how to resolve all the issues. The need for forgiveness drives a good portion of the story. Well written and engaging from the start. Highly recommend this one. I was provided a free copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

A Taste of History

I enjoyed this story set in Arizona Territory at the end of the 19th century when it was still very much part of the old West, complete with cattle rustling and vigilantes. I enjoyed the mention of Buckey O'Neill and his involvement with the Spanish American War. Interesting characters, and a sweet ending.

Road to Forgiveness

I liked how Andrew & Jenny Garret's son Jacob turned out to be a by product of his parents, honest to the core. When it's God's will, you just can't go wrong!

Quick read ... yet didn't want to put it down.
Gal falls in love with stranger, father doesn't want them together, another man wants her in the midst of cattle disappearing with no signs of the rustlers. You can guess the characters as you read - but is it really??

Some excerpts that I found interesting:
We know you'll do your best, Son. I believe God has some mighty plans for you. You need to go out and discover what they are. You have our blessing. And you know there will always be a place for you if you ever decide to come back here.

Failure? Don't speak to me of failure. I know you've had some bitter disappointments, but don't lose heart. It isn't over yet. You're going to come through this all right, but you need to trust God.

You need to believe He has your best interests at heart, even if He doesn't have your life arranged the way you'd like it to be. He knows the direction He wants our life to take. You need to ask Him to show you what it is.

Have you prayed and asked for an answer on how to deal with this, or are you just trying to figure it out all on your own?

Thus is the third book in the Arizona Brides series. Once again, living a godly life, prayer, and seeking God's Will are emphasized in this boy meets girl and fall in love story. After overcoming challenges to their faith and obstacles in life, Hallie and Jacob marry. This was another enjoyable, short book, very predictable, yet leaving the reader with warm fuzzies in the end.
