This is not my usual genre, but I was not disappointed.

It is part of the "Love Inspired" group of novels that includes faith in how the characters determine their destiny. Enjoyed the characters, what they had faced in their lifetimes and how they were trying to overcome obstacles.

A feel good book about family, love & faith.

Great read.

This book takes place in Australia where the author is from.

Jared is caring for his niece and nephews after his sister and her husband die. To keep the children the social worker thinks he needs to be married so a mutual friend sets things up with Annie.

Annie had lived in the same town with her mother who drank and barely took care of her. Annie had moved to the city. No one knew she gave birth to Toby besides the lawyer, Jared's best friend, and his sister Sara who Annie chose to adopt her son.

Great story.

This was an amazing book! Great message & the characters were well developed. Wonderful Story :o)
I finished it one day, just couldn't put it down!
I'm so disappointed that it was the only Love Inspired book she's written.

This is a beautiful story that explores many painful topics, such as death, trust, forgiveness, adoption (from many vantage points), etc. It is set in Australia and has a Christian perspective. If you ever wondered how a mother could give up a child for adoption, this book even explores this.

I learned from this book how much my Mom means to me, and how grateful I am for the home she has given me. I love books that help me appreciate what I have. :)
