This has been on my bookshelf forever. Covers everything from lawns to vegetables to flowers. Contains lists of plants that do best in all areas of the country. Talks about soil, weeds, fertilizer, really everything and is written in a clear and concise manner. While there are a few colour photos in the middle of the book, I really prefer much more photography in a gardening book.

I usually find books in the dummies series way too simplistic, but this wasn't the case with this one - I actually had to skim over some parts because they were beyond what I needed to know (I'm not planning on mucking about with soil ph or anything like that). Recommended for anyone wanting to do Serious Gardening.
