Never Submit: Will the Extermination of Christians Get Worse Before It Gets Better?

Christians in the Middle East are fleeing their homes or dying at the hand of Islamists creating the very real possibility of a successful faith-based holocaust. The implications of such an outcome for the region and the world are a very fanatical militarized Islamist region that soon might be armed with nuclear weapons to threaten the world with atomic terrorism and the same insidious conditions that promote Christian genocide there could spread to America. Reversing this very serious threat must be the top priority for Middle East governments and their populations, the so-called moderate Muslim world, Western governments already frightened by rising Islamist threats and a genuine global response by Christians to rise-up around a doctrine that combines moral, civic and Christian virtue as the guiding light of future political and Christian social action in the Middle East.There are plenty of clues in God's word about the geopolitical clashes of culture and religion seen today and on close examination there are a host of indicators that suggest, yes, events are building to an apocalyptic crescendo. It appears that the last days are rapidly approaching.The evidence contained in NEVER SUBMIT ultimately demands a clarion call for people across the world to launch a campaign that not only saves Middle East Christians from genocide but also saves the rest of the world from Islamic extremists. That campaign is called "Never Submit," a response to Islam defined as "submission" and to Islamists who give Middle East Christians three leave, convert or die. The "Never Submit" campaign calls on Christian statesman across the world to rise up and lead fellow believers and the community of nations in a righteous way to eliminate the threat posed by Islamic extremism and to call all people to include pragmatic Muslims to moral accountability and action.

A HIGHLY CRITICAL PERSPECTIVE OF THE OUTLOOK FOR MIDDLE-EAST CHRISTIANS

Lieutenant Colonel Robert Maginnis, U.S. Army (retired) is an analyst for Salem Radio Network and is a regular guest on several other radio and television networks (such as SkyWatch TV).

He wrote in the Foreword to this 2015 book, “Christians in the Middle East are fleeing their homes or dying at the hand of Islamists, creating the very real possibility of a successful faith-based holocaust… a very fanatical … region that soon might be armed with nuclear weapons to threaten the world with atomic terrorism---and the insidious conditions that promote Christian genocide there could spread to America…. This volume addresses the … threat in five sections that build upon one another, beginning with a sobering view of the genocidal situation facing Christians in the Middle East…” (Pg. ix)

He states, “President Obama’s address at the National Prayer Breakfast on February 5, 2015, shocked many listeners by demonstrating his shallow understanding of the Crusades. Sadly, Obama used the occasion to lecture Christians that they should not get on a moral high horse in their castigation of Islamic State atrocities by reminding the audience that the Crusades and American slavery history were also justified in the name of Christ. The president’s choice of the Crusades to encourage humility … makes a clumsy moral-equivalence argument, distorts the facts of history… and delights the Muslim world, which remains in denial about its savage history… and therefore largely excusing horrific violence against Christians in the modern Middle East.” (Pg. 57-58)

He observes, “Christians will be free of the threat of genocide only with a radical transformation of the Middle East---and then only if the necessary reforms are generated from within the Islamic system. Many people thought the 2011 Arab Spring was that transformational movement, but the series of rebellions collapsed, and now autocratic governments returned to those countries with a vengeance.” (Pg. 117)

He contends, “Obama came into the job with a thin resume devoid of foreign-policy experience, and his performance is rounded out by his own naivete and inexperience. He was elected on the basis of celebrity and sloganeering: ‘Hope and Change.’ He is likely to end his two terms with little positive to boast about…” (Pg. 129)

He says, “We saw how fragile support is for Christians with the election of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. Before Brotherhood leader President Mohammed Morsi was ousted in 2013, Christians experienced significant discrimination and now they are back to just being second-class citizens, and the normal level of persecution continues.” (Pg. 154)

He suggests, “The scriptural clues indicating that we are in the prophesied end times are numerous. The prophetic mega-clue is Israel’s miraculous rebirth as a nation… Israel’s troubles continue to mount as prophesied: the formation of Islamic State with affiliates boldly proclaiming its intent to destroy Israel and the West, world pressure on Israel to embrace a bad ‘two state’ solution with the Palestinians… But the Christian armed with … prophetic insight knows there is an unseen spiritual force creating these perilous times and driving the world abyss, the end times.” (Pg. 203-204)

He states, “Every effort to stop Christian genocide in the Middle East has failed. Western governments seem impotent to force Middle Eastern countries to take the actions necessary… Those same Middle Eastern governments refuse to treat their Christian citizens as equal partners, and are complicit in the ongoing genocide of their Christian citizens… Western Christians aren’t any better than their incompetent governments.” (Pg. 213-214)

He explains, “how can the global Christian community help Middle Eastern Christians emigrate? There is a legal way and a not-so-legal way. The legal immigration route is the most preferred… Christians need to lobby their respective governments to streamline the visa-granting process and increase the number of Christians their governments will permit…. The alternative to legal immigration is an illegal approach… But Christians who choose to violate those laws must be prepared to be held to account for their infraction.” (Pg. 255)

He argues, “Christians should participate in the ‘Never Submit’ campaign to help save fellow believers in the Middle East and possibly bring America back from the brink of moral self-destruction. Such a campaign requires Christian Americans to engage their government and political campaigns for the glory of God.” (Pg. 257)

He states, “Extremism is not something that can just be ignored… Women’s rights are eroded. There is discrimination on the basis of race and sexuality… Communities become segregated and cut off from one another. Intolerance, hatred and bigotry become normalized. Trust is replaced by fear, reciprocity by envy, and solidarity by division.” (Pg. 282-283)

He concludes, “the Islamists… have already done plenty of groundwork through aggressive immigration and seeding Islamic insidiousness in schools, mosques, and prisons… What can be done? Local communities must confront the Islamic threat head on, both in the Middle East and at home.” (Pg. 316)

Christians who are very critical of Islam may appreciate this book.
