This is a beautifully presented book, not only with amazing photos but put together in a sensible sequential format. starting with a bit of history with photos, moving on to materials, tools and how to dye, various way to weave, covering bases, rims, handles. Then there are the project which are very well explained and finally a gallery of artist with some of their beautiful work. With this book you won't need another, if you want to learn to weave, and with the inspiration that is provided from the photo, you will be making baskets to your hearts content

The illustrations and diagrams are clear and concise.
A practical guide for anyone interested in basket weaving.

It's not often that basket makers are treated to a new publication with clear instructions and lovely photography. This book satisfies those needs and adds a bit of history to the mix.

I highly recommend Award-Winning Basket Designs and I am happy to add it to my craft library.

I enjoyed reading this book and seeing the types of baskets that the author creates. The step by step instructions appeared to be clear (I didn't test any out). There was a nice variety of baskets which were divided into degrees of difficulty.

Too complicated for teens. (or not enough photos, however you analyze it) More for adults with a bit of skill set for handling materials.
