I am reviewing the 1st book - Corrupt Practices.
Mariel is fresh out of college and lands her dream job - intern for Senator Roger Taylor. His brother Dallas runs the senator's office and takes an instant dislike to her. He separates her from the other interns. Put's a child's desk in a closet and puts her there with nothing to do. She makes busy work for herself. Dallas actually is very attracted to her and doesn't want the distraction in an election year. He hopes she'll quit. She's young, idealistic and he is too worldly and a very rough lover. Mariel volunteers to shred a huge amount of papers and is given little time to complete it. Dallas is surprised she is there so late and that he didn't know about these papers needing to be shredded. Bored, she began to read some of the papers. She is shocked to find some spread sheets that show the Senator is laundering campaign funds. The hunt is on to find out who is behind this and she and Dallas team up and hook up. Can they clear the Senator? Will they have any future?

Started off promising but then just went downhill. Mariel was so clever but then with Dallas was such a wimp. Their first sexual encounter was terrible and humiliating. I can't believe she'd go back to him without a lot more begging.
I only finished Dallas and Mariel's story and didn't even feel a bit motivated to finish the other two stories. The ending seemed rushed.
Like I said, beginning seemed promising but then it seemed like author didn't know where to take it.

Dallas and Roger Taylor are part of the Government politics and Mariel a new intern is being handled as if she is a mere toddler or so how Dallas treats her which she has a degree and can do more than being a coffee maker or a maid but do real work but will she ever get to or will she have the tedious jobs and what happens if a close friend tries to hurt the taylors and who is it that may be blackmailing them and who kills or tries to kill someone they know . find this and more when you buy , read and review . stay tuned to corrupt policies

This was an ARC review copy and this book has about Paige and Rogers story in the last book was about Dallas and Mariel and their story . and the fact Dallas and Roger have a shock well a few shockers one find out one of them have a a child and that they both have a sibling as well they did not know about and a wedding . to find this and more buy , read and review book comes out in a few days pre 0rder it and find out who is corrupting who and who is not corrupted .
