Wellsburg High needs help--and fast! The sliding gym floor that covers the school's swimming pool is stuck open halfway, and repairs will cost a fortune.
Leave it to Minnie O'Reilly, production assistant at KID-TV. She suggests they put on a telethon Halloween night. From then on it's hilarity all the way with auditions of gerbils dressed as ghosts, a baton twirler whose specialty is breaking spotlights, and an imitation Elvis who sings and dances as if he had killer ants in his pants.
Still, the show must go on--and it does. As the hours tick slowly by, Monroe, the counting dog, tallies all the donations. But when it's nearly time to call it quits, they are less than halfway to their goal. Can even Minnie save this telethon?
