Johann Sebastian Bach fathered noted composer Johann Christian Bach and his brothers: Wilhelm Friedemann Bach, Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach.

After a spell in Italy, this German of the classical era, the eighteenth child and the youngest of his eleven sons, moved to London in 1762. During his time in the English capital, people came to know him. He played a role in influencing the concerto styles of Franz Joseph Haydn and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
