Butch has really knocked it out of the park with this one. There is no "degree" in sales management, but this book is by far the best reference/textbook I have read on the subject. In fact, I am using it to train my sales managers. Not only is the information valuable, it is entertaining. Butch has a way of connecting with the reader in a practical way. This is a book about doing things, not just learning things. Whether you just landed the sales management job (or want it) , or if you are a seasoned pro, this book will help you do what you do (and what your boss expects) better.
