Robert Anthony Schuller is an American author, televangelist and television executive. He was formerly a minister on the Hour of Power weekly television program broadcast from the Crystal Cathedral in Orange County, California, where he was named senior pastor in 2006. An ordained minister, Schuller is the only son of Crystal Cathedral founders Robert H. Schuller and Arvella Schuller.

This book offers a very innovative and fresh view on the fruits of the Spirit even though it is already a decade since it was first published. For example, it looks at Goodness as the counterbalance for Kindness, not an addition. Jesus expressed Goodness to everybody even to the most sinfull people he met, but that warranted that he not show Kindness at all times to everyone, just like the best parents are not simply those that are most kind at all times in all circumstances to their kids.
