Rate this book
A Badger Adventures of a Wisconsin Farm Family Tom Foxwell and his family endure and, some would say, triumph over one hundred years of farming, romance, mystery, and adventure. A Badger Tale is a heartwarming saga of grandfather, son, and grandson and the trials and tribulations of growing up on a Wisconsin farm. The Foxwell family encounters the Great Depression, the Chicago World's Fair, World War Ii, rationing, the Cold War, Korea, and much, much more. This is a story of love, loss, death, and triumph that will hold you in its grasp until the very end.

Great story that follows three generations of a Wisconsin Farm Family thru three wars and the Great Depression. Rich in detail, it captures the essence of life in Wisconsin in the early 20th century.

Truly a great read

Having grown up in the region where the book is written about, I found myself being transformed and reliving my adolescent years through the book.

The author does an awesome job of first person story telling, helping you see the world through each of the characters eyes.

Following 3 generations on a family farm there's stories about love tragedy and how the farm works. They're all great stories although a little bit slow to get into the book. I would say the best part is the 3rd part when it's the grandsons turn to tell his life story.
