But what she does not know is the surprise is going to lead her on a new adventure! Maggie Gets Her Wish is the charming tale of a little girl who receives an unexpected gift on her fifth birthday.
I love the illustrations in this book. They are simple and use primary colors, and they are sure to draw the eyes of young readers. The birthday party theme includes a lot of fun things to point out in the pictures. The lesson of your wishes may be answered in different ways than you expect is an important one.
