The Stone Garden

Rate this book
A young man has come to the point in his life where he is trying to find himself. However, his inner search is made more difficult by the people he has chosen to surround himself with. His continuous need for sexual satisfaction is often frustrated by a male friend whom he desires, and this situation makes him feel inadequate and regretful for having such desires. Another friend is constantly taking advantage of his low self-confidence and, at times, conjures it from her deceptive games. His other male friend wants him, but he does not return these feelings, leaving him to question his worthiness altogether. All of this leads his inner worlds of thought and perception of reality to inevitably fluctuate in alternate dimensions of bitterness and mind-shattering comprehension, spiraling downward into an endless and seemingly pointless search for his identity, until he ultimately fades from existing in this world.
