Looks like the authors wrote about their favorite subjects. I was surprised to find John Wayne Gacy--front and center--in the G section. There are so many "subjects" to write about; no special reason whatsoever to highlight this specific goon.

Introduction took 65 pages . . . went on forever. Easy-to-read, nice references.
