About the author

Robin Currie

Robin Currie spent her library career in the children’s department, where she could baa, moo, and honk without getting shushed. Her writing engages children not only in noisemaking but jumping, waving, and face making. So do her sermons.

Despite her incessant need to wiggle, Robin earned a Master’s Degree in Library Science and worked in public libraries before answering the call to seminary. She holds a Master’s of Divinity and Doctorate of Preaching, and remains active in area churches.

She and her husband have 4 mature children and a crop of grown-up grandchildren who keep them from becoming Old Foggie’s. Because there is no fun noise for that.

Robin has traditionally published more than 45 picture books. She writes stories to read and read again!

Strong points:
* The hard cover pages throughout make for a very durable book.
* The recommended actions for each story are excellent for toddlers.
* A wonderful book for toddlers to share with baby siblings.

Negatives:
* I personally find the illustrations to be laughably HORRIBLE. Poor illustrations would have cost one star, but these are so bad it reduced the overall quality by two.

We gave our copy as a gift with apologies for the illustrations.

I love reading this book to Grace! It has three little actions to go with each story (like "pretend you are sweeping the floor like Martha").

Really cute... my favorite Bible story for little ones so far. I love that it gives them things to do and the prayers are perfect for a nearly 3 year old. Short, sweet, and to the point.
