It was an interesting collection of stories. A great diversity in formats and themes played throughout, taking the idea of a Dungeon Grind to wide range of settings. Like any anthology, there were stories I was not fond of, but there was enough to love, especially in the second half.

The scenes involving sex, for the most part, felt almost fitted in with most of these stories, though. As if "oh, it's a requirement, better add something". That is my take on it, though.

Look, I opened Dungeon Grind expecting a nap and got a wake-up call instead. Kandrel doesn't waste a paragraph, and the short, blunt chapters hit like a cold splash of water. A couple of them feel like warm-ups for the real stuff. Great for people who want the point fast, skip it if you like to wander.

A great selection of anthropomorphs in a variety of settings, both fantasy and more modern, with a nice bit of erotica in each. Very good way to sample the writings of some established authors in the furry and anthropomorphic genre of stories. Enjoyable collection!

Honest take: Dungeon Grind is the definition of an easy, satisfying read, and I mean that with zero shade. Kandrel knows the rules of the game and plays them cleanly. You'll see most of the turns coming. Perfect for a long flight, skip if you want to be surprised.
