Excellent...adds a whole new dimension to my knowledge about the place in which I live. It is a counterpoint to the romanticized, sanitized versions of local history that we normally hear....here are the dark underpinnings, and stories of the very real people who live and lived here. My only complaint is the lack of careful proofreading. The stories are great!
