Seventh grader Trader Wooly and his friends, living on a military base in West Germany, stumble across a terrorist plot to kill as many Americans as possible.
I read the Trader Wooly books in elementary school. It was so easy to envision myself as Trader and experience those adventures first hand. I met Tom as a wide-eyed 10 year old holding one of his books. These adventures Catapulted my interest in WW2 history and created an intrigue that I still have to this day. I now have a copy of these books for my kids, although they are too cool to read something I enjoyed back in the stone age ;)
Many readers of his reviewers are adults (as would be expected), but these books are for the starry-eyed kids eager to go on a dangerous adventure from the safety of their own room.
