What a comprehensive book! Definitely recommend for a biology/veterinary student. It starts with the basics and goes through all systems, the first part is based on the cat and dog's anatomy and physiology. It then goes on to exotic species, covering birds, reptiles, rodents, fish and horses. It's not an easy read but I was determined to finish it and take notes and it was worth it.
