Hot, hot, hot! The title fits the book!
Just a few minor complaints...the book is written in 1st person, although it is from both the hero's and heroine's perspective. It takes a little getting used to, jumping from the hero's thoughts and then the heroine's.
Also, the characters have the names of the author and her husband. Is this autobiographical--I'm not sure. But it made me almost feel like a voyeur. It was a weird feeling! But a very good story nonetheless about an author and the college professor lover who find a passion for one another that neither thought was possible. Lots and lots of hot, passionate scenes! The story takes place in present day England, and lots of colorful local dialogue is used (another thing to get used to). This is the first book I've read by this author, and I enjoyed her writing style enough that I will be checking out her other work.

Overall good book. At first it was hard to get into due to the being told from two different perspectives at the same time. Glad I finished. Lovely story about 3 lovers that can bring out the best in each other.

This book is erotica, so if that's not your thing, stop reading.

This is by far the worst writing I have suffered through in a book all year. I made it a few chapters into the book, then skimmed through the latter half to see if it ever got better. (It doesn't.) The writing style appears to have come from a high school student, not a professional writer. (I did this. He did that. I wanted to do this. I felt this.... Absolutely no variety in the sentence structure!!) The book is written in British slang, which is fine, and bounces from her perspective to his with no warning, which is jarring. The sex scenes are boring and seem to have been written by a near-virgin. For example, the experienced feminist heroine thinks she's being daring because she's on top! Whoa baby! That's ever so racy of you! (gag me) Anything more advanced that missionary style is made out to be illicit in this book. If this is an accurate presentation of British sexual mores, I feel very sorry for the entire country. Don't bother reading this - it's not even good for erotica.

my friend Laura's review was spot on. There are a LOT of British sayings in here, but it's not very distracting. Kinda cute. The switching back and forth in 'voice' of the first person was more distracting in the beginning because they often would repeat some of the action/occurrences from each point of view. This repetitiveness was the distracting thing. However, after the first few chapters, that no longer happened so then it was easy to switch back and forth. So if that's bugging you, stick with it. The sex scenes are HOT and there's a lot of fantasy/role playing fun in it, but all tame enough for the light-hearted. It's just a fun read and a sweet romance with hot sex....so I recommend!

As it started out I didn't think I'd enjoy reading this book. I extremely glad I kept reading!
