Building A Financial Fortress is a wonderful series. Thus far, this one is my favorite. Short, informative and to the point. I've thought about investing in gold but it seemed so complicated. This book gives the basis of the inner workings of our financial world in an easy to understand formula. I now understand the valuation of the dollar and why I receive so many credit card offers which I've always considered junk mail. I like advice and plans to fatten up my financial future. They're included in this book giving me more ammunition for my financial fortress. At the end of this book I reached the page where Amazon asked me to rate my experience with this book. I felt the information was simplified and descriptive enough that I can begin to add precious metals to my financial portfolio. So, five stars it is!

I received this book free from Goodreads for an honest review. Building a Financial Fortress is informative and easily understood. Great ideas.

Did you know the Fed prints over $500 million per day in paper money?

Gold and silver are not the only precious metals you can invest in. You can also invest in platinum or palladium.

I have purchased silver from the U.S. Mint. Can't afford gold right now.

Mr. Reichert has given me other ideas where I can invest. Bonds? Maybe.

Keep writing these books.

I received this as a winner of a First Read contest. A short pamphlet size (25 pages) booklet explaining the American monetary system and the importance of Gold and Silver as investments. I am a novice as my husband does all the investing for us but it was helpful to me to explain terms such as "monetizing
debt" and "quantitative easing" There is a suggested invested strategy offered with percentages of stocks, bonds. real estate, alternate investments which includes Gold, Silver and other metals and cash. For me it was a good beginning primer to investing.
