Uneven stories- some great, some very problematic (ie rape masquerading as romance). The last story "The Lucius Robe (aka Resurrection)" has many typos.

Lord Of War: Black Angel: 327pg
A clash of head strong personalities leads to a passionate love & fiercely loyal, protective woman who'd wade through he'll to retrieve her husband.
The Dark Lord 244pg
I understand with the Lady's requests for mercy that the knight was learning compassion, I just found it irritating that she'd make so many demands in an area she was ignorant of & he easily compiled
Devil's Dominion 387pg
A tortured soul recreates the death & destruction of the man who destroyed his life at five years of age. He captured his enemy's daughter & like her mother was able to painstakingly draw humanity from the beast out for vengeance.
I admire the courage & compassion of the young woman.
Black Sword 328pg
Starts quiet violently. However, the plot, passion, strategic infiltration & betrayal make for an page turning adventure. Twists turned in unexpected, heartbreaking & at times comical ways.

Contemporary novel
A stolen templelar religious relic, a ruthless, fanatic band of zealots closely tied to Nazis & an innocent intelligent teenager that was kidnapped for convenience then becoming the centre of a bizzar plot to grasp power & create a new world order.
It's fascinating as well as frightening to imagine such a plan being perpetrated and the people chosen as figurehead merely pawns of a madman entrenched in the Vatican. The anguish of a mother & tumultuous romance in spite the desperate circumstances.
