South Vietnam, 1968. A million dollars worth of heroin, hidden in the belly of a crashed chopper, lies near the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Army lieutenant Harry Siddons, his Vietnamese translator Tran, and four battle-hardened Marines risk everything to retrieve it and quickly find themselves on the run from both the VC and the drug cartel. They face betrayal and attack from inside and outside their ranks as their dark odyssey takes them from the Ho Chi Minh Trail to the ghostly ruins of a French rubber plantation and finally to the mean streets of Saigon.
